Mitchell Proactive Police Senior Constable Brooke Malane and Senior Constable Heidi Twining were a hit with Seymour College students.

The officers recently attended the Seymour College breakfast club and gave students the chance to talk to local police and ask questions.

As part of the Mitchell Police School Engagement Strategy, local uniform members and members of the Proactive Police Unit will be attending breakfast clubs at all local primary schools in Mitchell Shire and parts of Strathbogie Shire.

“The breakfast club initiative is aimed at breaking down the barriers between our young people and police in an informal and safe setting,” Senior Constable Malane said.
